LH Department Provides 25 Portable Toilets in The Shelters

Jakarta Environment (LH) Department provided 25 portable toilets to several flood victims shelters.

Portable toilets will be provided until emergency response and evacuation period ended

Jakarta LH Department Head, Andono Warih explained, his side provided 4 portable toilets in Central Jakarta. 2 toilets are placed at RW 03, Petamburan Urban village and the others are placed at RW 08, Petamburan Urban Village.

Then, 7 portable toilets for flood victims in West Jakarta. 2 units are placed at Daan Mogot, 2 units at GOR Cendrawasih, and 3 units at Kampung Guci Duri Kepa Shelter.

"In South Jakarta, we place 5 portable toilets. 2 units at Pejaten Barat and 3 units at Pengadegan," he added, Thursday (1/2).

Meanwhile in East Jakarta, his side placed 2 portable toilet units at Cipinang Melayu Urban Village, 1 unit at Kebon Manggis Urban Village, and 1 unit at Cakung Barat Shelter.

"Moreover, we also place 5 portable toilet at Semper Dormitory Shelter," he said.

His side admitted that his side is ready to provide and operate the portable toilets in other shelters which need it.

"Portable toilets will be provided until emergency response and evacuation period ended," he closed.
